One of the original 27 antennae (plus 1 spare). About every three or four months, the antennae are manually moved to a different configuration. Each configuration offers advantages varying between resolution and field of view. In configuration A, the telescope has a diameter of about 26 miles/42 kilometers. When in configuration D, all the dishes are within 2000 ft/600m of the center.
